On July 15, Armis announced eight new additions to the Armis Integration Network, and we're very excited to be one of them.

The announcement makes a point about ecosystems that we strongly agree with: no single tool solves the whole problem, and when technologies run in silos, the context needed to act on risk gets lost between them. But securing today's connected estate isn't only about connecting tools, it's also about coordination across the teams those tools serve. Effective Enterprise IoT security now depends on three groups working in concert: cybersecurity teams accountable for risk, IT teams accountable for infrastructure, and the IoT application owners accountable for the devices themselves. Each needs technology purpose-built for its role, and those technologies have to work together.

For the physical security and IoT device owners specifically, the missing piece has been effective tooling. A platform like Armis can surface which devices are at risk, but the teams responsible for those devices have rarely had a way to act on that risk at scale. The number of connected devices is projected to reach nearly 40 billion by 2030, made up of fleets that include hundreds of device types, vendors, and protocols.
