Senior Embedded Linux Engineer

SecuriThings is looking for an experienced Senior SW engineer to join the development team of our embedded IoT devices agent-based solution.
As part of the role you will have the opportunity to:
Lead and develop our agent-based solution, targeted for embedded IoT devices
Design new end-to-end features adjusted to our customers’ needs
Work with other teams to seamlessly integrate our embedded agent’s functionality as part of the overall service
Research & Implement future capabilities in alignment with our short & long term roadmaps
Lead the design & development process of accompanying cloud-services to support and manage our agent-based infrastructure at scale
Requirements
Graduate of B.Sc. in Computer Science / B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, from a well-known university / Alumni of a technological unit in IDF or equivalent background
At least 3-5 years of experience developing in C/C++ as a main coding language with strong OOP foundations
At least 3-5 years of experience developing for embedded systems on top of Linux-OS
Familiarity with development of IoT devices – a big advantage
Experience in development of backend systems in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, Node.js, GO - an advantage
Experience in development of docker based microservices & familiarity with microservices architecture - an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt and quickly pick up new technologies
Team player & exquisite interpersonal skills
Willing to work in a fast, high-growth startup environment and be able to switch between different devops/programming/debugging/support tasks
