Solution Engineer

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales solutions engineering, sales engineering, or related technical consulting role
  • Strong background in networking, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity concepts
  • Experience with enterprise IT and physical security environments (e.g., VMS, access control, identity management)
  • Proficient in explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, system integrations, and enterprise architecture design
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive technical workstreams independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites or industry events

As part of the role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as the technical lead in pre-sales engagements, working alongside Account Executives to design tailored solutions for prospective customers
  • Own and lead technical discovery sessions, solution demos, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and pilot deployments
  • Act as a bridge between customer stakeholders (IT, physical security, network, and compliance teams) and internal SecuriThings teams
  • Design and suggest deployment architectures and integration plans that align with customer environments and security policies
  • Drive product adoption by ensuring smooth handoff to onboarding and Customer Success teams
  • Support RFP/RFI processes by contributing technical responses and documentation
  • Take ownership of third-party risk processes and assessments, contribute to technical responses, and actively support cybersecurity-related discussions
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer needs and field experience
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise in SecuriThings' offering, cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and physical security systems
