Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting
  • Strong foundation in enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with enterprise physical security systems (VMS, access control, identity management)
  • Ability to simplify and explain technical concepts to both business and technical audiences
  • Experience with APIs, system integrations, and architecture design
  • Stellar presentation and communication skills
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites or industry events

As part of the role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead technical pre-sales engagements: Serve as the technical lead in pre-sales engagements, working alongside Account Executives to design tailored solutions for prospective customers
  • Run technical discovery and demos: Own and lead technical discovery sessions, solution demos, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and pilot deployments
  • Interface between customer and internal teams: Act as a bridge between customer stakeholders (IT, physical security, network, and compliance teams) and internal SecuriThings teams
  • Design deployment and integration plans: Design and suggest deployment architectures and integration plans that align with customer environments and security policie
  • Ensure smooth handoff post-sale: Drive product adoption by ensuring smooth handoff to onboarding and Customer Success teams
  • Support RFP/RFI processes: Contribute technical responses and documentation to support RFP/RFI processes
  • Manage third-party risk and security: Take ownership of third-party risk processes and assessments, contribute to technical responses, and actively support cybersecurity-related discussions
  • Provide product feedback: Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer needs and field experience
  • Stay current on relevant domains: Maintain up-to-date expertise in SecuriThings' offering, cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and physical security systems
