Our Refer a Friend Program:
How Our Team Grows From Within

Great teams are built by great people, and at SecuriThings, we trust our employees to help us find the best talent. Our “Refer a Friend” program lets team members play a key role in shaping our company while giving back to causes they care about.

When an employee’s referral leads to a successful hire, SecuriThings donates to a non-profit of their choice. We also take it a step further—actively engaging with these organizations through volunteering and community initiatives.

Since the program launched SecuriThings has donated hundreds of thousands of shekels to various non-profit organizations.

Gil & Ravid

Gil and Ravid met at Tel Aviv University back in 2016. After graduating, Gil went on to work in the Israeli military for several years while Ravid pursued a career in law. Within a few years of each other, they both decided to break into the high tech sector and found their ways back to one another in 2022 when Ravid referred Gil to the open “Product Manager” position. They donated to the ‘Educating for Excellence’ association.

Daytona & Erica

Daytona and Erica first worked together over a decade ago. Over time, they became close colleagues who genuinely enjoyed working together. After their company was acquired, they went their separate ways- but stayed in touch over the years.

When SecuriThings began building out its Customer Success team, Daytone thought of Erica as a natural referral. Her experience and proven impact made her an obvious choice, and the team is thrilled she joined. They donated to Hope House, Colorado.

Aviv & Noya

Aviv and Noya grew up together and have been family friends for as long as they can remember. Their professional paths intertwined last year when SecuriThings’ HR team began to expand and Aviv immediately referred Noya for the position of “Talent Acquisition Specialist”. They have now been working together for over a year and a half and continue to build new memories together both in and out of the office. They donated to the ‘A Girlfriend Left Behind’ association.

Jake & Kristi

Jake and Kristi first met at their previous company through the buddy system. Jake trained Kristi during her onboarding, and over time, they became close colleagues and even traveled together for work.

Now, years later, they’re reunited at SecuriThings.

They donated to the USA Wrestling Program.

Yael & Ravid

In 2000, Yael joined the Israeli girls scouts program and was assigned to a unit which at the time was led by Ravid. This mentorship was reignited when over 20 years later, Ravid stumbled upon Yael’s Facebook post about looking for a job. Within a few weeks, the pair were once again working side by side on projects where Yael now mentors employees and leads initiatives to promote the Learning and Development programs. They donated to the ‘Brothers for Life’ association.

Yael & Yaniv

Yael and Yaniv met during their computer science studies.

After graduating, they lost touch. But when Yaniv started job hunting, he came across open positions at SecuriThings. He reached out to Yael, and at that exact time, an opportunity opened up on her team. She passed along Yaniv’s details, and to our delight, he was hired.

Yael also became the buddy who guided Yaniv through his onboarding process, and their connection was rekindled, growing strong once again.

They donated to the Foundation for the Welfare of Holocaust Victims.

Nisso & Yochai

Nisso and Yochai have known each other since their childhood school days. Since then, they have remained very close friends- they studied the same field, traveled, worked together as students, and even lived on the same street.

When Nisso identified an opportunity and realized how Yochai’s experience could contribute to the team at SecuriThings, he immediately referred him for the position- and it was the perfect fit.

Together they decided to contribute to an organization supporting premature babies in Israel.

Kierk & Joal

Kierk and Joel have been working together for years, and their trips together are always filled with good energy and plenty of laughs. On one memorable trip, Kierk joked about the noisy ice machine outside his room and left a playful note on it for Joel- sure enough, it led to a late-night laugh and a shared moment that perfectly captures their easy, fun working relationship.

They donated to Charity: Water.
