Developer Center Enhancements: A Path to Building on SecuriThings
Published on: September 1, 2026
We're excited to share a set of enhancements to the SecuriThings Developer Center. It now brings together structured documentation, use cases, runnable recipes, and a live API reference in one place, and remains open to anyone, no SecuriThings login required. These updates make the Developer Center a stronger starting point for building on SecuriThings, whether you're pulling device data into your own tools or automating remediation across your fleet.
What's new in the Developer Center
- Structured documentation. Everything you need to get started, and to understand the conventions that apply across the API before you call your first endpoint.
- Use cases. What you can achieve with the API, from managing your device inventory to monitoring your fleet and automating remediation.
- Recipes. Runnable examples for common jobs, each combining several steps and endpoints, so you can start from working code instead of a blank page.
- An improved API Reference. Every endpoint documented with examples, and a console for trying requests directly from the page.
- Search and AI tools. Full site search across every page, and any page can be opened directly in Claude or ChatGPT to ask questions about it.
As before, the Developer Center requires no SecuriThings login. Anyone on your team, whether or not they have a SecuriThings account, can visit it directly.
What you can build
With the expanded API, and the documentation, use cases, and recipes now in the Developer Center, you can build things like:
- Monitoring and data retrieval. Read device, site, and compliance data across your fleet and feed it into the tools you already use for reporting, dashboards, and alerting.
- Automation and tasks. Execute remediation tasks and automate device workflows programmatically, for a single device or across your entire fleet.
- Integrations with third-party systems. Connect SecuriThings to the platforms and services your team already runs on, so device data shows up where your team is already looking.
What's next
We will soon release the SecuriThings MCP Server, and the Developer Center will include all the relevant documentation and guides for it.
